Carol asks…

How much is my wii bundle worth? (ball-park range)?

Hello –

I am interested in selling my wii and a bundle pack. I have a lot of accessories/game included and was wondering if you guys could throw out some (serious) ball park figures on how much you’d guesstimate it selling for. The all-inclusive list is below:

What’s included??:
Nintendo Wii Console
Wii stand + stabilizer (the clear plastic looking piece)
Power Supply Unit
Hook-up Cables
4x Controllers
4x Nunchuks
Sensor Bar + Sensor Stand
1x Wavebird GC Wireless Controller WITH adapter (for playing online/GC games)

Wii Games (all come with original cases/manuals):
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Mario Party 8 (comes in regular white wii game case, accidently ripped off the artwork when opening the game from that silly plastic ?)
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
Guitar Hero III – Legends of Rock (Includes 1x Guitar!!)
Wii Fit with Balance Board!

Gamecube Games (all come with original cases/manuals):
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Mario Strikers
Luigi’s Mansion
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Virtual Console (downloaded games/channels!):
Mario Kart 64
River City Ransom
Super Mario Bros 3
Wii Internet Channel

Retail prices:
Wii base system: $200
3 extra controllers + nunchuks: $150
Wavebird: $30 (probably worth $20 today)
5 Wii Games at $50 each: $250
6 GC Games at $10 each: $60
VC games: $20

GRAND RETAIL TOTAL: $690

Thus, a good used deal for all of this would probably be around $400-500.

Help with Wii fit & wii fit plus?

I wanna get the wii fit plus but cant find it in a bundle package ( Like this: http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/7796378/Nintendo-Wii-Console-including-Wii-Sports-+-Wii-Fit/Product.html ) so i was wondering, is there a diffrence in Wii fit & wii fit plus?
wtf :| I aint fat or nothing i just want a wii fit cos they look good- twat

Gamer Guy answers:

The difference is that Wii Fit Plus features 15 new balance games and six new strength and yoga activities. The New features include a calorie burning counter, the ability for users to create custom fitness regimes, and choose from a number of specialized routines based on specific objectives and available time, as well as having the option to create profiles for pets.

Wii Fit Plus includes a Wii Balance Board, and will also be sold as a stand-alone game for those who already own balance boards.
I hope that answered that question

And there is a bundle package (like in that picture) for the nintendo balance board and wii fit plus. At toys r us they do this kind of bundle packs

Richard asks…

What do I need for the wii fit experience?

So, I am getting the wii to play the fit game, but I do not know if i really need all this

http://electronics.hsn.com/nintendo-wii-fit-and-ski-bundle-with-balance-board-and-yoga-mat_p-5891251_xp.aspx?webm_id=0&web_id=5891251&sf=ec&dept=ec0220&cat=ec0232&ocm=ec|ec0220|ec0232&prev=hp!sf!dept!cat&ccm=ec|ec0220|ec0232

If I wanted to get the wii console by itself and then get the accessories, what would I need? Is it worthy to buy all this?
Please advise,
Thanks,

KC

Gamer Guy answers:

You can buy all that separately on Amazon for less plus get free shipping. See below:

Wii Console = $200
Wii Fit Game and Balance Board = $90-100
Yoga Mat = $30
Wii Ski Game = $20
Total = $350

In the end, you really don’t need Wii Ski, but a yoga mat may be a welcome addition for your wii fit experience. Anyway, the HSN is overpriced.
